What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute sophisticated, multi‑platform sourcing strategies for complex and senior roles.
  • Craft highly personalised outreach that demonstrates genuine knowledge of a candidate’s background; act as a trusted adviser throughout the process to convert passive interest into active engagement.
  • Champion Modulr’s EVP, tailoring the proposition to different audiences and seniority levels; proactively identify and develop brand advocacy opportunities.
  • Build and manage strategic talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles, conducting proactive market mapping and maintaining warm, long‑term relationships with high‑potential candidates ahead of business need.
  • Act as a partner to hiring managers: challenge briefs constructively, influence hiring decisions with evidence and market insight, and maintain accountability for quality of hire throughout the process.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage, providing transparent feedback and acting as a genuine advocate for candidates regardless of outcome.
  • Use data proactively to identify trends, surface risks, and recommend improvements.
  • Lead on inclusive hiring for your roles by identifying and mitigating systemic bias risks in job descriptions, sourcing, assessment, and decision‑making.
  • Contribute to team‑wide DE&I initiatives and process improvements.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the function.

Who You Are

What you’ll need

  • 4–6 years’ end‑to‑end recruitment experience in‑house or agency, with a track record of successfully hiring for complex, specialist, or senior roles.
  • Strong sourcing expertise across multiple platforms and techniques, including multi‑channel strategies beyond LinkedIn.
  • Demonstrable experience partnering with senior stakeholders and hiring managers, developing relationships that can challenge, influence, and build genuine trust at all levels.
  • Confident working with ATS platforms, with strong data hygiene habits and the ability to report on and interpret your own metrics.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive hiring, able to identify bias risks in the recruitment process and take concrete steps to mitigate them.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and ownership; you manage your roles and relationships independently while keeping stakeholders well‑informed.

Nice to haves

  • Experience recruiting within a FinTech, financial services, or high‑growth technology environment.
  • Experience contributing to employer brand projects, talent marketing campaigns, or DEI recruitment initiatives at a programme level.
