We do this by providing products and services which allow our clients to efficiently collect, reconcile and disburse funds instantly via a range of payment schemes, accounts, and card products, fully controllable via API.

What You’ll Do

The Product Manager for Business Payments will build, develop and lead Modulr’s proposition that automates and accelerates business payments for SMBs, Corporates and professional accounting firms. You will be accountable for the development, delivery and performance of your payments products including the development of our integrated partner eco‑system. You’ll develop a deep understanding of end‑to‑end payroll, account payable and collections payment processes, eco‑system participants and their needs (business users, accountants and software providers). You’ll use the insights to investigate, test and develop innovative solutions that create value across the whole eco‑system by increasing operational efficiencies, lowering costs and accelerating time to payment.

Your role will involve:

  • Evolution of our business payments product including APIs, dashboards and portals, mobile apps, reports, partner integrations, creating ROI driven roadmaps that address your target customer needs and tie back to business goals and strategy.
  • Responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of your product suite, including product discovery, design, build and launch.
  • Supporting the CPO and Product Director you will input into business strategy and clearly communicate your roadmaps and the value proposition of your products.
  • Operating as Product Owner within your squad ensuring that product designs and specifications address customer requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Engineering Manager, complete epics and user stories including clear acceptance criteria.
  • Support the development of scalable ways of working within the team to deliver at pace.
  • Ensuring end‑to‑end delivery of products and that all implications on teams across the business (sales, ops, risk and compliance, data) are understood and addressed ahead of go‑live.
  • Ensuring effective launch and market traction of new and existing products by collaborating with sales, demand gen and product marketing.
  • Active development and management relationships with key partners that embed Modulr services and products in their platforms and workflows.
  • Accountability for the ongoing regular assessment of your products against agreed metrics and KPIs.
  • Understanding costs of your product set and working with the wider team to input into pricing strategies.

Who You Are

A seasoned product professional, with proven track‑record of delivering results by shipping valuable features and scaling your products commercial performance. Excellent command of product management discipline possessing deep expertise in technical product development, API ecosystems, and sophisticated UX design for B2B products. Proven ability to work effectively in context of customer engagements (requirements gathering, user testing, product pitching), product development (product design, working with engineering teams) and strategy. Comfortable working in a regulated environment; able to balance speed with operational, security and compliance requirements. Financial services experience is preferred. Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement and relationship skills across C‑level customers, partners and suppliers. Operates with high autonomy, combining meticulous attention to detail, deep analysis with the ability to navigate ambiguity. Curious mindset and drive to explore how AI can make a real difference.
