What You’ll Do
You’ll join a close‑knit and high‑performing legal function in London, working across a wide variety of legal matters that keep pace with the growth of the business. Day‑to‑day this means:

  • Negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts, client agreements, supplier contracts, technology deals and key banking relationships
  • Providing practical, commercially grounded regulatory and legal advice across multiple business functions
  • Supporting the legal team's work on data protection, IP and emerging areas as needed
  • Contributing to legal team projects improving templates, processes and governance as the function scales
  • Working directly with senior stakeholders across the business, including at C‑suite level
  • Managing and working with external law firms on differing litigation matters

Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who brings both strong legal skills and the right attitude for fast‑paced in‑house work.

  • Solid commercial contracts experience with a financial services, payments, fintech or banking background
  • Data protection experience (GDPR / UK GDPR)
  • Comfortable with regulatory complexity – FCA‑regulated environment experience is a strong plus
  • Whether you’re stepping in‑house from private practice or moving from another in‑house role, you’ll need to demonstrate genuine commercial pragmatism and an appetite for breadth
  • Calm under pressure, great with people, and genuinely excited about AI and technology
  • Experience working cross‑jurisdiction is advantageous
