What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‐performance culture.
  • Oversee the provisioning of hardware, software, and access for new hires, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Act as the primary on‐site IT presence, providing hands‐on support and guidance to both your team and end‐users.
  • React promptly to ad‐hoc onsite support requests ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Manage and prioritise help desk requests, ensuring tickets are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues, both in person and remotely.
  • Drive project work, from conception through to delivery, including the rollout of new tools, SSO integrations, and automation initiatives aligned with best‐practice standards.
  • Coordinate and support IT projects, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Oversee identity, access, and endpoint configuration across Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and M365.
  • Create and maintain high‐quality documentation for technologies, workflows, and processes to support effective knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Monitor, collect, and analyse data to report on the health of systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Share insights and propose improvements to optimise IT processes and enhance the overall end‐user experience.
  • Support and maintain meeting room infrastructure and software.

Who You Are

What you'll need

  • Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring IT teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware (Windows, macOS, peripherals, AV equipment) and software (cloud‐based tools, SaaS platforms).
  • A curious mindset and drive to explore how AI can make a real difference.
  • Passion for learning and a desire to develop both yourself and your team.
  • Comfort working in a scaling business, where time is critical and change is frequent.
  • An academic background in technology or business (beneficial but not essential).
  • Ambition to work in a high‐growth tech company.

Nice to haves

  • Experience automating tasks using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and exposure to automation/orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL).
  • Experience supporting cloud‐based infrastructure.
  • Exposure to endpoint management tools (e.g. Intune, JAMF).
