What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a Senior Events Manager to own and deliver Modulr’s end‑to‑end events execution — from trade shows and field events to our first flagship customer conference. You’ll bring strong event marketing and project management skills to create engaging, customer‑focused experiences that support Modulr’s growth goals. You’ll also lead occasional regional events, customer roundtables, and partner gatherings.
- Event Planning: Take full ownership of organising events from start to finish, encompassing budgeting, logistics, vendor management, on‑site delivery, and post‑event performance review.
- Spearhead the planning and execution of our inaugural customer conference, as well as multiple key trade shows within our target sectors.
- Collaborate with content marketing, demand generation, and senior leadership to shape event messaging, establish timelines, develop agendas, and secure speakers. Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met efficiently.
- Partner Collaboration: Work in partnership with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless and cohesive event delivery.
- Data‑Driven Strategy: Monitor key performance indicators, analyse event outcomes, and deliver actionable insights to maximise the effectiveness of our events.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance event management processes to enable scalability and drive operational excellence.
- Define clear success metrics, measure, and provide comprehensive reports on the influence of major events in terms of brand awareness, audience engagement, and pipeline contribution.
- Marketing Alignment: Collaborate closely with broader marketing teams to guarantee consistent messaging and brand alignment across all event touchpoints.
Who You Are
What you’ll need:
- A curious mindset and drive to explore how AI can make a real difference.
- Demonstrated track record of 3–5 years in delivering impactful event experiences, with essential hands‑on experience in organising in‑person events.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate a fast‑moving, dynamic working environment with composure.
- Experienced in coordinating both virtual and face‑to‑face event formats.
- Previous collaboration with external event agencies and production teams is desirable.
- Skilled at conceptualising and launching new events tailored to evolving business objectives.
- Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation, and communication abilities, enabling effective stakeholder engagement.
- Exposure to marketing experimentation, technology platforms, data analytics, or product management is considered a valuable asset.
What We Offer You
- Share Options: We offer a Company Share Option Plan (CSOP), giving you the opportunity to benefit from any increase in share value in the event of a sale, merger, or flotation.
- Bonus: Our annual discretionary bonus, paid in May for the previous year, is based on both company and individual performance.
- Flexible benefits: ÂŁ1000 to spend on benefits to suit you, including private medical insurance, gym membership, dental etc.
- Wellbeing app: confidential, on‑demand access to therapy, coaching, counselling, management training or mindfulness sessions with accredited professionals, with company‑funded hours and top‑up options available.
- Holidays: 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus your birthday off. In the UK, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day are fixed holidays. You can choose the remaining days to suit your personal schedule.
- Learning opportunities: Our two‑day onboarding program, ModStart, helps equip you for success. Learning doesn’t stop there; we’ll continue to support your development through various channels.
- Company‑Wide Events: Participate in collaborative and engaging events with colleagues across the business.
