We are looking to hire ambitious, and value-adding talent to join Modulr, the fastest growing payments business in the UK and Europe. This role is office based five days a week in west London office.

We are deeply integrated into the payment eco-system. In the UK, we are direct participants of Faster Payments and Bacs, and hold settlement accounts at the Bank of England. Our payment network connectivity includes CHAPS, Open Banking, SEPA, SWIFT and account issuance in 11 currencies. We are principal issuing members of Visa and Mastercard across UK and Europe.

Our regulatory permissions and governance structure underpin our business. We are regulated and supervised as an Authorised Electronic Money Institution (AEMI) in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority and in the Netherlands by De Nederlandsche Bank.

Modulr now has over 450 employees spread globally across offices in London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, and Mumbai.

The role

We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to provide outstanding 1:1 support to the CEO across all areas of business support. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious business at an exciting time of growth. The CEO has a wide variety of business, charity, and social interests, and needs someone who has superb organisational skills who can keep up with the pace of the role.

Specific duties

  • Sole responsibility for managing a complex set of engagements – both business and occasional personal.
  • High volume of internal and external meeting planning and coordination.
  • Liaising both internally and externally with Board members, key stakeholders, and clients.
  • Facilitating the seamless running of every day – greeting guests, preparing meeting rooms, timekeeping etc.
  • Reacting swiftly and efficiently to short notice changes.
  • Having the tenacity to ensure all tasks are seen through to completion.
  • Contributing to business success by understanding key priorities.
  • Providing proactive support for document creation and revision for senior management.
  • Preparing and collating information for multiple subcommittees and board packs using PowerPoint collaborating with Governance Secretary closely.
  • Efficiently managing both business and personal administrative tasks for the CEO office.
  • As with this type of role, ad hoc tasks as required.

About you

The successful person will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role and we are looking for the following:

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Be able to demonstrate upmost professionalism and be comfortable representing the business to our network, which includes regularly liaising with high-status guests and HNWIs’.
  • First-rate written and verbal English, comfortable with drafting professional correspondence.
  • Able to troubleshoot issues before they become problematic, and proactively anticipate priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/SharePointskills and willingness to learn new tech.
  • Highly organised, efficient, and systematic.
  • Ability to exercise discretion around sensitive and business issues.
  • Supreme efficiency and attention to detail with the ability to adeptly multi-task.
  • Patience, tenacity, and flexibility, with a calm and \”unflappable\” nature.
  • Self-initiative solution driven and able to think quickly on your feet.
  • \”No task too small\” attitude, happy to get stuck in and get things done.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and work well with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
