Graduate Engineers — If you are looking to take your first steps into the world of motion control engineering, this project is for you! We’re offering a hands-on opportunity to work on a live motion control project using Yaskawa hardware — with paid project milestones and the chance to progress into a long-term role. At Modularinkjet, we work with the latest and greatest in talent and technology to bring cutting-edge inkjet solutions to market. If you are willing to get stuck in and learn, we can’t wait to support you every step of the way.
Project-Based Opportunity – £5,500 Total
- Project 1 – Yaskawa Sigma 3 controlled through the MP2300 Using MPE720 MotionWorks 7 / SigmaWin+ (Working example + reference software provided) £1,000 on completion
- Project 2 – Yaskawa Sigma 5 controlled through the MP2300 Using MPE720 MotionWorks 7 / SigmaWin+ (Working example + reference software provided) £1,000 on completion
- Project 3 – Yaskawa Sigma 7 controlled through the MP2300 Using MPE720 MotionWorks 7 / SigmaWin+ (Working example + reference software provided) £1,000 on completion
- Project 4 – Advanced (Open to anyone that excels in projects 1, 2 and 3) Work on a brand new Sigma X, 5-axis system using the i3 controller, including involvement in system specification and setup. £2,500 + visit to Yaskawa UK demo facility (costs covered)
How it works:
- Projects can be completed individually or in teams
- Full support provided from our team
- Access to working systems and real examples
- Flexible hours (day, evening, weekends)
We expect projects 1-3 to take around 10 days once started. Project 4 is more in-depth and will require further time commitments.
