We are seeking a commercially focused and detail orientated Business Analyst to support our client predominately with business case creation. You'll support two strategic business units within Europe and play a critical role in driving multi million benefits across a portfolio of strategic change projects. We are open to UK-based candidates who appreciate working from the office at least once per week (London). We offer a 1-year contract that may be extended.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on shaping and preparing business cases for transformation spanning investment, resources and benefits, ROI and KPIs / milestones / action plans – ensuring optimal outcomes are planned and deliverable.
- Train colleagues in standard approach for delivery of high quality change propositions and business cases.
- Deliver training on variance analysis of project benefits and investments.
- Partner with business to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and 5yr planning cycles.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Understanding of business case creation lifecycle.
- Experience of transformational project management from financial perspective.
- Experience in financial analysis and project accounting.
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS capitalization rules and CAPEX governance processes.
