We are currently seeking a highly technical and commercially minded Group Finance & Controls Manager to join our global finance team. This is not your traditional group finance role. It is designed for someone who thrives on complexity, ownership, and accelerated career progression. You’ll sit at the intersection of technical accounting, audit, controls, and commercial finance, shaping financial governance and influencing key strategic decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading complex technical accounting matters and supporting high-impact commercial decisions
- Owning group financial reporting, including statutory accounts and technical accounting papers
- Designing, implementing, and enhancing the SOX control framework within a highly configurable global ERP environment
- Managing and strengthening the wider financial controls environment across the Group
- Acting as a key business partner to senior stakeholders and managing external audit relationships
What you’ll bring:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong Big Four background, ideally with exposure to large listed organisations
- Minimum 2 years at Audit Manager level (or equivalent)
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting standards and SOX/internal controls
- Analytical, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness
- Confident working independently in a fast-paced, global environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
