Purpose of the Role
The Global Strategy/ Workstream Lead (GWSL) for Installation is accountable for transforming how the Modulaire Group plans, coordinates, and executes its large rental and sales projects encompassing the full delivery lifecycle from bid submission through to contract execution, installation, and project close-out. The role exists to improve consistency, control, and margin realisation across the Group by addressing systemic causes of gross margin erosion and ensuring that every project is executed safely, efficiently, and profitably. The GWSL acts as the single point of accountability for defining, piloting, standardising, and embedding best practice across all SBUs, ensuring that learnings and solutions are replicated quickly and effectively across the Group. Through this work, the initiative contributes to shaping a high-performance project execution culture across Modulaire building consistency, capability, and continuous improvement. This role is based in London where we work in a hybrid model. We offer 12-18 months FTC which may lead to a permanent contract (based on the performance). In this position you may expect limited international travels.
Scope and Key Interfaces
- Global remit covering all Modulaire business units, reports directly to the Transformation Director and works closely with:
- Local Workstream Leads (Installation) to coordinate activities, pilot initiatives, and ensure consistent adoption.
- Commercial, Sales, and Bid Teams to align bid assumptions with operational delivery capability and ensure commercial input aligns with operating requirements.
- Operations and Project Delivery Teams to improve execution planning and control.
- Procurement, Fleet, Manufacturing, and Service Centre Workstreams to ensure seamless integration across value streams, establishing a strong end-to-end quality framework for optimisation of total cost of ownership.
- Finance and PMO for performance tracking, reporting, and benefits realisation.
Required Experience and Capabilities
- Extended experience leading operational delivery, installation, or project management in modular construction, building services, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record in strategical process transformation and operational excellence programmes across multiple sites or countries.
- Skilled in project planning, KPI reporting, and benefit tracking tools (IFS, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar).
- Deep understanding of bid, contract, and project execution processes, including risk management and financial controls.
- Strong experience in cross-functional stakeholder management (Commercial, Operations, Finance, HSE, Procurement).
- Comfortable working in a complex, matrix organisation with local autonomy and cultural diversity.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
