We are seeking an energetic self-starter to join our finance team in a newly created part-time position. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working collaboratively with the Directors and project teams, this role is focused on driving performance and applying strong accounting discipline across our commercial ventures and projects. Initially, this will be a six-month fixed contract.
Our activities span games and book publishing, distribution, product manufacture, and related consumer products. You will operate across three group entities β including a UK-based manufacturing company and a European commercial entity β in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contribution will be visible and valued from day one.
We are looking for a well-rounded individual who combines analytical rigour with strong interpersonal skills β a self-starter who communicates with clarity and confidence and brings energy and initiative to everything they do. You will thrive in a collaborative, largely virtual environment (with occasional office attendance in Fulham, London), and be equally comfortable working independently. Highly analytical, resilient under pressure, and an effective team player.
Contract: Fixed Term, Part-TimeResponsibilities
- Drive financial performance across three group entities, with a focus on project accounting and commercial analysis.
- Develop and implement best-practice accounting processes and procedures aligned to current standards.
- Deliver timely, meaningful management information to support decision-making at Director level.
- Have a strong track record in providing accounting support to track project progress and carrying out benefit realisation.
- Technically competent with a good understanding of UKGAAP and current accounting practices.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to strengthen business performance insight.
- Manage and develop internal management reporting processes.
- Leverage accounting software and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Delivery of Internal reporting.
- Project Accounting.
- Developing reporting processes and procedures.
- Strong accounting software skills and delivery of meaningful MI.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Current UK GAAP knowledge and good FRS 102 experience.
- Reporting within a group of companies.
- VAT accounting and tax reporting.
