Systems conduct end-to-end testing on operational units during production. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Lead and conduct Controls FAT witness testing alongside customers, consultants, and R OR A recognised apprenticeship in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or Building Services with strong electrical/mechanical HVAC knowledge and demonstrable software programming aptitude. Solid understanding of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and cooling/heating operating cycles . Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and control diagrams . Basic understanding of IT architecture, server environments, and industrial communication networks . Working knowledge of standard BMS/DCIM protocols, including Modbus (RTU/TCP), BACnet (IP/MSTP), and TCP/IP . Logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting and complex problem-solving . Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interface effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams . Hands-on programming experience with one or more of the following controllers: Carel pCO / c.pCO family using 1tool or c.suite Trend IQ3 / IQ4 controllers using Trend SET PLCs running CoDeSys / Structured Text Rockwell / Allen Bradley Studio 5000 Tridium Niagara Framework (AX / N4) Experience conducting or witnessing customer-facing FAT/SAT tests .
