Working alongside talented engineering and manufacturing teams, you'll help ensure our automation platforms operate reliably, compliantly, and efficiently while contributing to the future of biotechnology.

As a Senior Engineer, Process Automation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operation of Moderna's cutting‑edge Gx P manufacturing automation systems.

Leveraging your expertise across platforms including Aveva System Platform, Rockwell Automation Control Logix, Delta V, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, and Aveva PI Historian, you will help ensure the reliable and compliant operation of critical manufacturing processes that enable the delivery of m RNA therapies to patients worldwide.

You'll also have opportunities to work alongside emerging digital and Generative AI capabilities that continue to enhance manufacturing performance, operational insights, and engineering excellence.

• Here's What You'll Do
• Troubleshoot complex issues across our Gx P Process Automation Systems, including Delta V and Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers.
• Maintain and champion a culture of compliance, ensuring excellence in both the design of automation solutions and the ongoing operation and maintenance of manufacturing systems.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their development and supporting engineering excellence.

• Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology discipline.
• 5-10 years working with process automation systems.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.
• Flexibility to occasionally cover off-hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.

• Proficiency in IT networking, and OT with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize.
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical processes and equipment.
