In this role you will drive AI-readiness initiatives across Moderna, coordinating complex programs with cross-functional teams. You will establish structured, data-driven governance and risk management to ensure secure, compliant AI deployment. You will lead multiple high-visibility workstreams, shaping the operating model for AI enablement and partner with engineering, security, data, and enablement teams. You will influence stakeholders and promote a culture of continuous improvement and inclusion, delivering measurable impact at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-workstream program scoping, execution, and reporting using data-driven, risk-based methods.
- Kick off and manage complex, high-visibility initiatives with clear ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Create or adapt processes, templates, and governance structures for programs.
- Oversee vendors, schedule, scope, and cost; monitor program success and risks.
- Develop stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly and timely to drive outcomes.
- Advance infrastructure and security practices and culture within programs.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, AI Engineering, Data, Enablement/L&D, and business teams to drive improvement projects.
- Manage AI system lifecycle governance including agent identity, tool authorization, and secure development; ensure observability and regulatory alignment (including GxP).
- Own operating model for AI enablement programs, pilots, cohorts, and phased rollouts; shape learning paths for AI builders.
- Promote inclusive culture and antiracist policies in Moderna.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years in Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management in AI/ML environments.
- Experience with AI/ML systems, model governance, and MLOps concepts.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, executive storytelling experience with cross-functional, global teams and matrixed environments.
- Ability to scope and drive complex multi-workstream programs with a risk/data-driven approach.
