As a Senior Engineer, Process Automation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operation of Moderna's cutting-edge GxP manufacturing automation systems. Leveraging your expertise across platforms including Aveva System Platform, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, DeltaV, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, and Aveva PI Historian, you will help ensure the reliable and compliant operation of critical manufacturing processes that enable the delivery of mRNA therapies to patients worldwide. You'll also have opportunities to work alongside emerging digital and Generative AI capabilities that continue to enhance manufacturing performance, operational insights, and engineering excellence.
Here's What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot complex issues across our GxP Process Automation Systems, including DeltaV and Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers.
- Maintain and champion a culture of compliance, ensuring excellence in both the design of automation solutions and the ongoing operation and maintenance of manufacturing systems.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their development and supporting engineering excellence.
