Our growth is powered by smart technology, strong partnerships, and people who enjoy opening doors and creating opportunity.

About the role
This is a high-activity, outbound sales role focused on one clear objective:
- Generating qualified appointments for our Field Sales team — every day.
You’ll be speaking with merchants across the UK, introducing Modern World Business Solutions, our payment products and services, and asking engaging questions about their current payment provider. You won’t be closing deals. You’ll be opening doors.
What you’ll be doing:

- Introducing MWBS clearly and professionally
- Handling objections
- Asking smart discovery questions about current payment suppliers
- Identifying key decision-makers
- Booking qualified, sales-ready appointments

What we’re looking for:
Essential:

- Confidence with cold calling
- Resilient, proactive, and target-driven (3 appointments per day)
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience in payments, merchant services, or financial services
Most importantly, you are:
- Hungry and self-motivated
- Comfortable hearing “no” and moving on
- Professional, ethical, and engaging on the phone
- Consistent — you understand success comes from daily activity
Why join Modern World?
- Salary £39,200 OTE (uncapped commission)
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays
- Health Cash Plan
