Modern Networks is a leading specialist provider of managed IT and ISP infrastructure services to the UK’s Commercial Property, Science Park, Education and SME sectors. We work with more than thirty of the UK’s leading Commercial Property Managing Agents, supporting over 2,000 buildings nationwide.
Our Account Management team are the face of the business, driving our success, performance, and growth. You will be responsible for proactively promoting and selling our services and building long lasting relationships with our customers, supporting with IT requirements, positioning new services, and growing our reoccurring revenues to meet our ambitious business goals.
As the primary point of contact for your customers (primarily London based), you will develop a deep understanding of their business and technology landscape. You'll work hand in hand with our pre-sales and delivery teams to identify, shape, and close opportunities across professional and managed services.
We are seeking an Account Director with a proven track record of selling managed IT and connectivity services. The ideal candidate will be experienced in solution selling across complex sales cycles, shaping large-scale services engagements. Specifically, we are looking for:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex, consultative sales environments within the IT or Telecoms sector.
- Experience in the Commercial Property / Flex Sector, including tender processes.
- Strong opportunity qualification and forecasting skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation experience.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on long-term relationships.
- Backgrounds from cloud providers, ISP's or MSP's are especially relevant.
