Seeking a side gig that makes a difference? We\’re looking for authentic individuals who can connect with others effortlessly. If you appreciate good food, care about its origins, and value meaningful conversations that foster genuine relationships, we\’d like to talk. Sales experience not essential – just a genuine personality and a touch of passion for what we\’re building. This isn\’t your average promo job.
Join our milk round
Our goal at Modern Milkman is to make the home sustainable, and, to date, we\’ve prevented over 100 million plastic bottles from polluting the planet. Not bad for a business that started as four friends from Lancashire delivering milk from a beat-up truck!
We’re using technology, creative problem solving and innovating historical methods to bring back the milk- round and by doing that we offer our customers the ability to make more planet-positive shopping habits one small, simple and very convenient step at a time.
You can find us across the UK and in the US (Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island)
Your mission
This London-based role involves representing The Modern Milkman at events throughout the South of the UK, as well as at high-value street locations in London. Most of the work is weekend-based, making this perfect for those seeking flexible additional work. We\’re an established startup reviving the traditional milkman model with a modern twist, delivering fresh milk, produce, and household essentials in returnable glass bottles.
What You\’ll Do
- Represent us at events and high-value street locations across the South.
- Engage potential customers in conversations about our convenient delivery service.
- Educate people on the benefits of fresh, British-sourced products.
- Sign up new subscribers to our service.
- Meet sales targets while having fun!
What You\’ll Your Earn
- £150 day rate
- £15 commission on each sale
- Set up and driver bonuses
What We\’re Looking For
- A friendly, approachable personality that naturally connects with people
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or brand ambassador roles
- A bit of a foodie who appreciates quality products
- Conscious about sustainability without being preachy
- Comfortable starting conversations with strangers
- Weekend availability is essential – this is primarily weekend work.
- Age 18+
