Job description: Modern Edge Recruitment are actively looking for Self Employed Van Drivers in the B46 area of Birmingham. Pay Rate - £125 per day *subject to full week completion* Work Monday to Friday (Alternative Saturdays) Need to be currently set up as a sole trader Will be paid minimum wage if not set up as a sole trader/self employed Basic DBS Check is required (advantages if you already have one in date) 1st week of work is all Training based at £50 per day accumulating £250 per week whilst on training and not on your own runs. Daily rate will be paid once on our routes within the company. Minimum of 50 hours per week available working as many hours as possible if wanted per week. Responsibilities * Safely operate a van for the purpose of delivering pharmaceutical goods to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order. * Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly during transit. * Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy. * Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. * Report any mechanical issues or concerns with the vehicle promptly. * Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation. * 30-40 Drops per day based on a morning and afternoon run * Day Shifts * Anytime between 6am-7am starts and runs finishing at 5pm Experience * Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role is preferred. * Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics. * A valid driving license is required, with no more than 6 points. * Happy to load and unload vehicle daily. * Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and clients. * basic DBS required If you are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for driving and logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Van Driver.
