We are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable Property Surveyor to join our growing team, covering Bristol and the surrounding areas. This role focuses on carrying out professional property surveys with a particular emphasis on damp, timber, condensation, and remedial reporting.
You will be responsible for inspecting residential properties, diagnosing defects, and producing clear, accurate survey reports with recommended remedial solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out property surveys across Bristol and surrounding areas
- Diagnose damp, timber decay, condensation, and mould issues
- Produce detailed, professional survey and remedial reports
- Liaise with clients in a professional and approachable manner
- Ensure all surveys comply with industry standards and best practice
To demonstrate competence, applicants must hold one of the following qualifications (or an equivalent):
- CSRT – Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatments (Property Care Association)
- CSTDB – Certified Surveyor in Timber & Dampness in Buildings (Property Care Association)
Equivalent qualifications may include:
- Federation of Damp – Damp Surveyor Certification
- Environment Study Centre – Level 3 Award in Damp, Mould & Condensation
- ISSE / ABBE Diploma – Specialist Surveying in Damp, Timber, Condensation & Mould
- Proven experience in property surveying (damp & timber focused)
- Strong diagnostic and reporting skills
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Confident communication and customer service skills
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
