This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join a clean, modern facility producing safety-critical components for major OEMs across the automotive, defence, and heavy-duty sectors.
You’ll be working with high-spec CNC lathes including Haas, Puma, Biglia, and Dainichi, within a business that values quality, continuous improvement, and long-term career development.
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will play a key role in the manufacture of precision steering components, working to exacting quality and safety standards. Based at the company’s Coventry headquarters, you’ll operate on a rotating morning and afternoon shift pattern, taking ownership of setting, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines.
This role offers excellent stability, structured processes, and opportunities to upskill within a highly skilled engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, operate, and adjust CNC lathes (Haas, Puma, Biglia, Dainichi)
- Edit programmes, manage tool changes, and apply offsets
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and route cards
- Carry out first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
- Work to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives (TPM, 6S, SMED)
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Contribute ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and performance

Hours & Shift Pattern
Monthly rotating shifts:
Mornings
- Mon–Thu: 06:00–14:15
- Fri: 06:00–12:00
Afternoons
- Mon–Thu: 14:45–23:00
- Fri: 12:30–18:30
