What you make in the Model Shop makes it onto the racetrack. That's the job of a lifetime.
About the Role: Day to day, you'll be manufacturing and testing precision 60% scale parts, working hand-in-hand with our Model Design, Aero, and Aero Test Facilities teams to keep development moving at pace. Traceability and readiness matter here - you'll own the detail, making sure every part is accounted for and the pre-fit model is always race-ready.
You'll build a close working relationship with the Aero Design Team, using your hands-on expertise to spot opportunities for faster model change times without ever compromising on quality. When something isn't right, you raise it and help fix it - contributing to a culture of continuous improvement that runs through everything we do in Aero Production.
This is also a role with visibility. Our Model Shop is a showcase facility, and you'll take pride in the standards you set - from Health & Safety to the impression we leave on the partners and guests who walk through our doors.
About You: Being a Model Maker is who you are. You take pride in precision and thrive under pressure. A natural collaborator, you spot ways to do things better and aren't afraid to say so. You bring high standards, a sharp eye for detail, and the resilience to keep delivering in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment. Whether your background is in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or motorsport, what matters most is your drive for excellence and your ambition to be part of something extraordinary.
