Freelance Rate: £15 – £18 p/h – dependant on experience
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate a wide range of props and scenic elements, using a variety of materials and techniques to deliver exceptional results.
- Carry out detailed finishing work including sanding, filling, scenic painting and high-quality spray coatings.
- Apply coatings to structural frameworks, ensuring consistent coverage and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate ‘as-built’ records to support project tracking and future reference.
- Support test builds and prototyping phases, contributing ideas and practical solutions.
- Get involved in installations and on-site work when required, helping bring projects to life in real-world settings.
- Manage your time effectively, working to agreed schedules and deadlines.
- Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Bring a proactive, can-do attitude and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team culture.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with colleagues, contractors and clients at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Prop Making with a specialty in Finishing.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
- Excellent attention to detail.
