Mode Search is supporting a contemporary fashion brand in the search for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Supervisor to join their team in Chelsea, London. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment, known for its elevated product, strong styling culture, and loyal client base. The Sales Supervisor will report directly to the Store Manager and will play a key role in the store’s daily operations and client engagement strategy.
The Role
- Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering an exceptional customer experience at all times.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and clienteling initiatives.
- Support the management team in driving sales performance through effective use of KPIs and selling tools.
- Actively engage with customers via in-store styling, follow-up communication, and personalised service.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, ensuring the space reflects the brand’s image and values.
- Participate in daily operational routines including open/close checklists, back-of-house organisation, and Division of Responsibility (DOR) execution.
- Act as a key support for the Store Manager in coaching, motivating, and developing junior team members.
- Contribute to a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and communicate key collection trends to both team and clients.
- Take ownership when working solo on store coverage, including all operational and service responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail sales or supervisor role, ideally within the fashion or lifestyle sector.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
- Confident, personable, and proactive with a passion for fashion and styling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example on the shop floor.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a dynamic retail environment.
- Comfortable working with POS systems, emails, and customer communication platforms.
