Mode Search is exclusively supporting an upscale British menswear brand in their search for a Senior Merchandiser/ Demand Planner. Based 4 days a week in the Head Office in London Bridge and Friday from home. This fully international role involves managing assortment for e-commerce and wholesale across all menswear categories. You will oversee 1 product manager and report directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guiding strategy on range including options, depth, and size based on history and trend, ensuring analysis and actual buy are reflective of the strategy.
- Manage a product manager and work closely with commercial teams.
- Assessing and approving monthly sales and stock forecasts across wholesale and ecommerce.
- Overseeing intake for the division ensuring no late deliveries and quick resolution of trouble shipments globally.
- Forecast profits and sales, and optimize the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.
- Maintain awareness of menswear market.
- Analyse the previous season's sales and report on the current season's lines.
- Identify production and supply difficulties and deal with any problems or delays as they arise.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in merchandising.
- Proven experience in international menswear fashion.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Capable of independently setting collection strategies, managing open-to-buy, and budgets year-over-year.
