Mode Search is proud to partner with an iconic luxury brand in the search for a Retail Merchandising Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a globally renowned brand celebrated for its heritage, innovation, and craftsmanship.
Leading a team of 4 and reporting to the Retail Merchandising Director, you will work closely with the retail teams to support their sales performance by monitoring and supporting with stock levels. You will also share your expert luxury market knowledge to help curate relevant assortments and work closely with marketing & PR on collections and events calendar. This role is full-time office based in the UK head office of the brand in Mayfair.
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Manage assortment planning, stock allocation, and inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability.
- Analyse sales trends and consumer behaviour to inform buying and planning decisions.
- Oversee seasonal planning, product launches, and markdown strategies to drive commercial performance.
- Work closely with retail teams to align merchandising strategies with business objectives.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and refine product strategies.
- Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting and merchandising tools.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting) to track and analyse key merchandising metrics.
10+ years’ experience in Retail Merchandising within luxury retail merchandising.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling).
Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a proven ability to drive business performance.
Experience managing inventory, product lifecycle, and sales forecasting.
Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Highly detail-oriented, with a passion for luxury retail and a strong understanding of market trends.
