Mode is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing luxury accessories brand seeking a Production Materials Controller to join its London-based Production team.

The Production Materials Controller will play a critical role in ensuring accurate visibility and control of raw materials across a network of international factories.
This is a highly analytical and detail-focused position, sitting at the intersection of Production, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock data across multiple seasons, factories and material categories, ensuring ERP records, production trackers and physical stock remain aligned.
The Role
- Maintain accurate visibility of production stock across factories, suppliers, seasons and raw material categories
- Track raw materials including leather, hardware, trims, packaging and other production components from purchase order through to factory receipt and closing stock
- Manage and maintain ERP stock records, trackers and system housekeeping
- Monitor stock movements including deliveries, transfers, usage, over-consumption, rejected materials, faulty stock and excess inventory
- Investigate discrepancies between supplier documentation, factory confirmations, internal trackers and ERP records
- Support goods receipt processes, stock transfers and associated documentation
- Review purchase orders, BOMs and raw material consumption to identify potential stock issues
- Analyse missing issues, negative stock reports and incorrect material consumption, identifying root causes and corrective actions
- Work closely with Production, Finance, Operations, suppliers and factories to resolve stock discrepancies and system blockers
- Prepare monthly production stock reports and support month-end stock readiness and valuation
- Reconcile factory-declared stock against internal systems and maintain a clear audit trail
- Support physical stock counts and quarterly stock-taking processes
- Monitor rejected, faulty, leftover and excess raw materials by factory and season
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual duplication and strengthen ERP discipline
- Support the development of SOPs and improved stock management processes
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience within stock control, inventory, production administration or supply chain operations
- Experience within fashion, accessories, leather goods or a similar manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous
- Strong Excel skills with confidence working with large datasets, trackers and reconciliations
- Experience working with ERP and/or PLM systems; experience with Priority ERP would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and reconcile information across multiple sources
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with high volumes of data and tight month-end deadlines
- Strong understanding of raw materials, production stock and inventory movements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with factories, Production, Finance and Operations
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Spanish or Italian language skills would be advantageous
- Must have the right to work in the UK
