Mode Search is proud to be supporting a leading London-based fashion business in the search for an experienced Merchandiser to join their dynamic team. With over 50 years of global industry presence, the company is known for delivering trend-driven collections to an international client base. This is a full-time, office-based role located in London. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager and work closely with the broader Sales, Design, and Production teams in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The Role
- Manage multiple customer accounts and maintain strong relationships with buying and merchandising teams.
- Oversee the critical path, ensuring deadlines are met and approvals are chased efficiently.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to support smooth production and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate data across internal systems and manage customer purchase orders.
- Monitor cost impacts and support the Sales Manager in maximising profitability.
- Handle press samples, internal communications, and follow-ups from key meetings.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist in delegating tasks to junior team members.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a merchandising role, ideally within a fast fashion supplier or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of critical path management and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience liaising with buyers, design, production, and fabric teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Confident working with internal systems and maintaining data accuracy.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost impacts and contribute to profitability.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
