Mode is proud to be partnering with a growing accessories brand seeking a Key Account Manager to cover the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business, driving wholesale growth across backpacks and lifestyle accessories within a fast-paced market. The company is expanding and offers strong potential for development, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within the UK retail landscape. This is a field-based role covering the UK, reporting into the Global Head of Sales. Fully remote but does require frequent travel across the UK.
The Role
- Manage and develop relationships with independent retailers and department stores across the UK.
- Identify and open new accounts, driving wholesale growth within your territory.
- Travel extensively to meet existing clients and prospect new business opportunities.
- Present product collections, secure orders, and introduce new seasonal ranges.
- Build strong, long-term partnerships with buyers and store owners.
- Support in-store presence through basic merchandising and product visibility.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to inform sales strategy.
- Deliver against sales targets and distribution goals.
- Provide regular reporting and updates on performance and territory activity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales or wholesale sales, ideally within accessories, fashion, lifestyle, or similar product categories.
- Experience working with independent retailers and/or department stores.
- Strong track record of developing new business and opening accounts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Existing network within fashion, accessories, or gift retail.
- Experience managing regional or national territories.
- Understanding of retail cycles and seasonal product launches.
