Mode Search are partnering with a globally recognised luxury retail house in their search for a HR Business Partner to join their UK team.

This is a key appointment supporting both Head Office functions and retail locations across London. The role sits within a well-established HR structure and will play a critical part in delivering people strategy, leading on complex Employee Relations, and supporting business performance across multiple areas.

The successful candidate will be highly autonomous, organised, and confident operating in a fast-paced, high-touch environment, with the ability to partner senior stakeholders while also supporting and guiding more junior HR team members.

Please note: this role is fully office-based (5 days per week). Flexible working is limited to approximately 10 days every 6 months, so candidates must be comfortable with this structure.

The Role:

  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to Head Office and retail leadership teams across multiple locations
  • Lead on complex Employee Relations cases, providing expert guidance on conduct, performance, and organisational matters
  • Support and mentor junior HR team members, ensuring consistency and quality across HR delivery
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align people strategy with business objectives
  • Drive performance management, organisational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensure all HR practices are compliant with UK employment legislation and internal policies
  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team including Talent, Advisors, and Coordinators
  • Contribute to ongoing HR projects and initiatives across the UK business

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a HRBP within a complex organisation
  • Strong Employee Relations expertise, with confidence managing high-risk and sensitive cases independently
  • Experience supporting both corporate (Head Office) and retail environments advantageous
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to operate autonomously
  • Experience mentoring or supporting more junior HR team members
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Luxury or premium sector experience preferred
