Mode Search is proud to partner with a prestigious luxury fashion brand in the search for an experienced Retail Store Planner to join their London-based team for a new store opening. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic and detail-oriented professional to drive the expansion and development of high-profile retail store projects on a global scale.
As a Retail Store Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of launching new retail locations, from feasibility assessments and project planning to execution and store openings. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that every project aligns with the brand’s exacting standards in design, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the full lifecycle of new store openings, including site selection, feasibility assessments, project planning, and execution.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring strict financial controls are met.
- Oversee store development specifications, ensuring adherence to the brand’s "Cahier des Charges."
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and local teams to optimize costs while maintaining brand integrity.
- Ensure all projects comply with legal requirements, design standards, and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Manage multiple retail projects, including flagship stores, pop-ups, and wholesale spaces, ensuring seamless execution.
- Identify and build key partnerships across various regions to support global retail expansion.
Minimum 10 years' experience in store development, retail project management, or a related role within the luxury retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience conducting site feasibility assessments and strategic planning.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers.
