Mode is proud to be partnering with a prestigious international luxury fragrance and beauty house seeking an Ecommerce Manager to lead its UK digital trading and operations.

The company is continuing to invest in its digital proposition and is looking for an experienced ecommerce professional to drive online growth while ensuring an exceptional customer experience across every digital touchpoint.
Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce & Digital, you will take ownership of the day-to‑day trading and operational performance of the UK ecommerce business, working across both direct-to-consumer and leading luxury retail partners.
The Role
- Own the day-to-day trading and management of the UK ecommerce channel across brand. com and key retailer. com partners
- Lead product launches, seasonal campaigns, homepage activity, gifting and promotional initiatives across digital channels
- Manage onsite merchandising, search and customer journeys to maximise conversion and engagement
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities across CRO, UX, content and functionality
- Partner with global and local teams across Ecommerce, CRM, Marketing, Retail, Logistics and Planning
- Work closely with development teams on platform improvements, testing, fixes and new functionality
- Manage ecommerce activity across Shopify and associated digital technology
- Partner with SEO and CRO specialists to improve visibility, organic performance and conversion
- Build strong relationships with retail partners to improve online visibility and sell-through
- Coordinate product launches, content and promotional activity across retailer. com platforms
- Work closely with Planning, Logistics and Customer Service to optimise stock, fulfilment and delivery
- Monitor key ecommerce KPIs including sales, conversion, AOV, UPT, retention and customer behaviour
- Use analytics and customer insights to identify commercial opportunities and improve performance
- Produce regular ecommerce reporting and performance reviews
- Partner with CRM on acquisition, retention, loyalty, sampling and gifting initiatives
- Manage relevant ecommerce budgets and forecasting
- Lead and develop a junior Ecommerce & Digital team member
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience within ecommerce, digital trading or a similar role
- Strong DTC ecommerce experience within luxury, beauty, fragrance or premium retail
- Hands-on Shopify experience is essential
- Strong understanding of ecommerce trading, merchandising and digital performance
- Experience using analytics and ecommerce platforms to translate data into commercial action
- Proven experience managing retailer. com partners and/or online marketplaces
- Strong understanding of SEO and experience leading SEO initiatives
- Commercially minded with strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and customer behaviour
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across international teams
- Previous experience managing, mentoring or developing junior team members
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Passionate about digital innovation, ecommerce and luxury customer experience
