Mode Search is supporting a luxury jewellery brand in the search for a Deputy Store Manager to join its boutique on New Bond Street. This is an opportunity to join a refined, client-focused environment where the emphasis is on building long-term relationships with a discerning international clientele and delivering a highly personalised luxury experience. This full-time position is based in the brand’s New Bond Street boutique.
The role reports to the Head of Retail, who supports the day-to-day running of the store while also overseeing another location. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the leadership of the store and will oversee operations in the Head of Retail’s absence.
The Role
- Support the Head of Retail in the day-to-day management and performance of the New Bond Street boutique
- Drive sales performance through exceptional client service and strong clientelling practices
- Build and nurture relationships with VIP and high-net-worth clients, both local and international
- Lead, motivate, and support the development of the sales team to maintain the highest service standards
- Maintain operational excellence, including stock control, security procedures, and boutique standards
- Ensure visual merchandising and overall presentation of the boutique reflect luxury brand standards
- Assist with private appointments, exclusive events, and tailored client experiences
- Take responsibility for overseeing the boutique in the absence of the Head of Retail
Requirements
- Previous experience within a high-profile or flagship luxury boutique environment, ideally within jewellery or luxury fashion
- Comfortable working in a quieter boutique environment with a focus on long-term client relationships rather than high footfall sales
- Strong clientelling skills and experience building a loyal client base
- Proven ability to support and lead a sales team within a luxury retail setting
- Highly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
