Communications Director - Luxury House

Mode Executive is supporting a leading luxury house with the appointment of a Communications Director. This senior leadership role will be responsible for shaping and delivering the local marketing, communications and brand strategy, strengthening brand equity and awareness, and supporting commercial growth while remaining aligned with the global vision and identity of the luxury house. You will be responsible for orchestrating the activities around brand image and brand awareness while respecting the Maison identity and vision. You will be the guardian of the market global strategy for Marketing, Event, PR & Media.

The role is based in the UK and operates within a hybrid working environment. The Marketing & Communications Director will work closely with the UK Managing Director and Retail Director and will report into senior regional leadership.

The Role

• Define and deliver a comprehensive UK marketing and communications strategy aligned with business objectives
• Lead brand positioning, messaging, and narrative across all UK channels
• Oversee integrated marketing activity including digital, campaigns, content, events, and partnerships
• Own external communications, including PR, media relations, and corporate messaging
• Act as a senior brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all external and internal touchpoints
• Partner closely with sales and leadership teams to support growth and market penetration
• Manage and optimise agency and supplier relationships
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team
• Use data and insight to measure performance, optimise activity, and demonstrate impact
• Play a key role in senior stakeholder engagement and strategic decision-making

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within the UK market
• Strong background across both marketing and communications disciplines
• Commercially driven, with experience delivering measurable business impact
• Confident influencing at senior and executive level
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into execution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading teams and managing external agencies
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
