Mode is proud to be partnering with an exciting, fast-growing contemporary luxury accessories brand seeking a highly accomplished Brand & Marketing Director to lead its global brand, marketing and communications strategy. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within a purpose-driven London-based business that has built a strong reputation for distinctive design, exceptional craftsmanship and a modern approach to luxury. The Brand & Marketing Director will play a central role in defining the next chapter of the brand, balancing creative excellence, brand desirability and measurable commercial growth. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Founder, this is a highly influential role with significant ownership over the brand's global direction.
The Role
- Define and evolve the global brand strategy, positioning and creative direction
- Lead integrated global marketing and communications strategies across international markets
- Establish a clear and distinctive brand identity across every customer touchpoint
- Set the creative standard across campaigns, photography, content and brand communications
- Oversee PR, communications, influencer marketing, social media, content and brand activations
- Develop campaigns that build long-term brand equity, cultural relevance and customer desirability
- Work closely with the Founder, Managing Director and senior creative stakeholders to shape the brand's future direction
- Partner with Product, E-commerce, Retail, Wholesale and Operations to ensure a consistent customer experience
- Use customer insight, market trends and commercial data to inform brand and marketing strategy
- Own and optimise marketing budgets, ensuring investment delivers measurable commercial return
- Lead, inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning Creative, Graphic Design, PR & Communications, Marketing, Social, Content and Brand Activations
- Drive international brand growth while maintaining a consistent and elevated global identity
- Identify new opportunities to strengthen the brand's cultural relevance and market position
- Champion innovation, emerging technologies and AI to enhance creativity, efficiency and marketing performance
Requirements
- 15+ years' experience in senior brand and marketing leadership roles
- Strong background within luxury, premium fashion, accessories or lifestyle
- Proven track record of building and scaling brands across international markets
- Significant experience developing brand strategy and leading integrated 360° marketing campaigns
- Exceptional creative judgement and a sophisticated understanding of luxury and contemporary aesthetics
- Experience working closely with Founders, Art Directors and creative teams
- Strong expertise across brand strategy, marketing, PR, influencer, content, social and communications
- Commercially astute, with experience managing significant budgets and demonstrating ROI
- Strong understanding of customer insight, market trends and data-led decision making
- Proven experience building, mentoring and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication, presentation and senior stakeholder management skills
- An inspiring and credible leader who can operate with both creative instinct and commercial discipline
- Passion for craftsmanship, innovation and the evolving luxury landscape
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies within creative and marketing environments
