About Modality
Modality is a globally recognised leader in buying and selling new and refurbished ultrasound systems and probes. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team.
Position Overview
Responsible for driving global sales of new and refurbished ultrasound probes, with a primary focus on the European and USA markets. The role is designed for a confident and motivated individual to manage the sales process, develop new business opportunities and nurture key existing client relationships. This position is based at our Loughborough office, but involves targeting the European and USA markets, therefore, regular international travel will be vital. The Sales Representative is expected to play a crucial role in Modality's growth strategy, particularly in increasing sales within the global market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales for new and refurbished ultrasound probes, with a strong focus on the European and USA markets
- Contribute to and implement sales plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing strong, long-term relationships with healthcare organisations, hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and a high level of customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability
- Track and report on all sales activities, maintaining clear records of customer interactions, deal progression and pipeline development
- Collaborate with other Modality departments to align with company objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with an excellent pass in a relevant discipline
- Some experience in relationship-driven sales
- Experience in use of IT systems such as Microsoft Excel/Word

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
- Confident in approaching and speaking with customers / prospective customers
- Motivated and results-driven attitude
- Track record of achievement and accomplishment
- Willing to travel internationally as required
