Modality Partnership Haydock Division has a full-time vacancy for a Patient Services Assistant (Receptionist) at Haydock Medical Centre. The postholder will provide support to the patients, doctors, practice manager, and all other members of the extended Primary Care Team, by ensuring smooth running of the Practice on a day-to-day basis as an integral part of the patient services team. We are seeking dedicated postholders to join our team and who can display our CARE values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with patient requests such as appointment booking and general enquiries in person and over the telephone, and perform a variety of administrative duties.
  • Provide patient-facing and back-office administration support; signpost patients to the most appropriate team member or service.
  • Communicate effectively, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and use IT skills to support patients and practice processes.
  • Work as a key member of the practice team to help harmonise ways of working and improve patient and staff satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate innovation, flexibility and commitment to ensure tasks are completed as part of the team.

  • Problem-solvers who enjoy interacting with patients and service-users.
  • Passion for providing high-quality customer service and ensuring patients have a positive experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, provide general enquiries support, and signpost to the appropriate team member or service.
  • Ability to work in a patient-facing and back-office administration role; caring, compassionate and confident, with IT skills.
