The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will produce accurate written reports using CRIS, Viewpoint, SystmOne and PACS, communicate findings sensitively to patients, and refer appropriately where required. You will maintain high standards of patient care, professionalism and medical ethics, participate in CPD, and contribute to audit and service development. The role also includes supporting the Lead Sonographer, supervising students and newly qualified Sonographers, and working closely with HCAs, reception and wider clinical teams to maintain service quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform and report independently on a wide range of ultrasound examinations, in line with your qualifications and scope of practice. This may include abdominal, renal, gynaecological, Doppler and small parts scans.
- Produce accurate written reports using CRIS, Viewpoint, SystmOne and PACS, and communicate findings to patients with sensitivity.
- Refer appropriately where required.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, professionalism and medical ethics; participate in CPD and contribute to audit and service development.
- Support the Lead Sonographer, supervise students and newly qualified Sonographers, and work closely with HCAs, reception and wider clinical teams to maintain service quality.
- Work in a hands-on clinical role requiring a high level of professional judgement, organisation and flexibility.

Experience and Capability
Our experience includes over 15 years of delivering community outpatient services, contracts with ICBs and hospital providers, a diverse clinical workforce, and delivery of over 160,000 patient consultations per year. We provide first consultations within a maximum of four weeks from referral, across a range of community locations, seven days per week.
