We’re looking for a talented Freelance Front-end Developer to join Modal, an award-winning web design and development agency. What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain responsive, high-performance websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
  • Work closely with our design and development teams to bring pixel-perfect UI/UX designs to life.
  • Optimise web applications for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Learn and grow in a collaborative environment, working with cutting-edge web technologies.
  • Contribute ideas to improve workflow, performance, and overall development processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience (or strong portfolio/projects) in front-end development.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design.
  • Experience with React, Vue.js or other front-end frameworks (a plus, but not required).
  • Familiarity with Git, Webflow, Figma, and CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify (nice to have).
  • Passion for learning new technologies, clean code, and web performance.
  • A creative mindset with great attention to detail.
