Moda In Pelle have an exciting role for a junior footwear designer. Joining a great team and reporting into the senior designer. As junior designer you will assist in designing a commercial footwear range which reflects our affordable luxury brand. You will be responsible for the design and development process by liaising with the team & factories. Assist with the day to day running of the department. Researching trends, key items, shop reports and presenting these back to the team. Plus keeping to a tight critical path.

Accountabilities:

  • Have commercial and relevant experience across ladies footwear and ensure product is designed and briefed in line with our standards to a high level of attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities for new shapes to enhance and add newness to our current range.
  • Have a strong understanding and passion for our brand and customer identity.
  • Must be enthusiastic about the fashion industry with a knowledge of luxury and high street trends and have the ability to apply this to our brand.
  • Have some technical understanding and the ability to work across different product categories.
  • Assist in designing handwear devices.
  • A passion for product across product categories and excellent communication skills.
  • Work closely with the buying team.
  • Be proactive, motivated and work in a team environment.
