What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Project Manager with circa 3-5 years’ experience. The successful person will ideally have a background in the Public Sector e.g -Housing Associations, Councils, Social Housing or similar. We also need a Project Manager with excellent relationship skills and with the ability to build strong, productive partnerships with customers and the Mobysoft team.

The successful Project Manager will have previously worked on software or data based projects and this is essential for the type of projects we work on. The Project Manager is responsible for on time and high-quality delivery of projects to external customers. Customer Success is a core value of Mobysoft and the Project Manager will play a key part in delivering value to our customers.

What you will do

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, managing issues across the organisation through to completion
  • Prioritise effectively with meticulous attention to detail
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Add control and structure to projects through the use of frameworks such as APM
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Produce and maintain project status reports, plans and RAID logs
  • Develop comprehensive milestone plans to be shared with customers
  • Communicate with customers to update them on project progress, risks, issues and actions
  • Ensure risks to delivery are identified, managed and escalated
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • To contribute to project management best practice
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Lead and facilitate meetings and workshops
  • Input into continuous improvement plans

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager (3-5 years)
  • Experience working in a fast paced B2B software environment
  • Experience of working in a product based business
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experience delivering data and/or analytical software projects (Essential)
  • Previous experience of working with agile methodologies
  • Experience of working with Salesforce is desirable but not essential
  • APM PMQ accreditation is desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of the SDLC
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
