Founded in 2003, Mobysoft provides data-based insight solutions to a wide range of social housing clients, supplying technology to help landlords improve their income-collection processes. Mobysoft delivers two market-leading products that help keep tenants housed and improve rent collection for the long-term good of the organisation.

Role
We are looking for a Regional Director (New Business) who will be responsible for all new sales of RepairSense and RentSense into social housing providers (housing associations/councils & ALMO’s). The successful person will be responsible for the annual new business sales target that includes both RepairSense and RentSense and any modules into net new clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and report to the Chief Commercial Officer on a weekly basis the core KPI’s for the role including executive meetings booked, remote data tests booked, new sales conversion rates and new business revenue (quarter and annual).
  • Selling into new social housing providers across the UK & NI.
  • Responsible for identification of the ‘Key Decision Makers’ (KDM’s) across these organisations and creating a sales contact plan to gain access and book an initial executive meeting.
  • Supported by Marketing, Commercial Director, Account Directors and various other roles across the Repairs team.
  • Seeking out major clients and forming working relationships with key executives at enterprise/strategic prospects.
  • Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
  • Forecasting to the Commercial Director on a weekly basis.
  • Utilisation of the CRM (SF.com) system to drive new sales to conclusion, ensuring that all meaningful interaction and data is stored in the system.
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.
  • Maximising company profitability.
  • Foreseeing and developing new sales strategies to drive increased value to the prospect and thus increase pricing.
  • Forming sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative.
  • Working with the implementation/pre-sales to deliver the Remote Data Tests.
  • Constructing winning, viable, commercial offers/business case reports for prospects.
  • Working with the marketing department to develop customer references/case studies and collating a body of client speakers & new business plan to unlock new prospects.
  • Following the quality ethos set by Mobysoft and collaborating regularly with client service and technology teams.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Ideally 4-5 years’ experience in IT-SaaS environment.
  • Proven sales executive experience meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Demonstrable experience as a business development director, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to achieve the optimum outcome for Mobysoft.
  • Strong and effective presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound understanding of project dynamics.
  • Ability to operate in a competitive and pressurised environment, making sensible decisions that do not compromise Mobysoft.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and operate flexible working patterns to accommodate demand.
  • Ability to quickly identify with the culture of client organisations.
  • Ability to identify and influence decision makers and build relationships at senior business levels.
  • Ability to think and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
