Based at our Salisbury hub you\’ll support the management and operations team by maintaining accurate records and helping us to continually improve our performance. Offering plenty of variety and training, this rewarding role will involve managing, prioritising, uploading and disseminating referrals, raising and changing prescriptions as instructed by the prescribers, generating prescription batch runs, logging prescribing information on client prescribing records and database, posting prescriptions to pharmacies, completing clinic letters, arranging clinic bookings, dealing with incoming and outgoing post and e‑mails through various e‑mail boxes, ordering supplies and petty cash, and minute taking.

Responsibilities

  • Generate prescriptions and manage prescription batch runs.
  • Disseminate referrals, uploads and clinic letters.
  • Handle prescription posting to pharmacies and maintain prescribing records.
  • Arrange clinic bookings and manage clinic communications.
  • Deal with post and e‑mail through multiple boxes.
  • Order supplies, oversee petty cash and maintain accurate records.
  • Take minutes and support other administrative duties.
  • Assist with newsletters, travel, accommodation and invoicing for the clinical team.

Ideal Candidate

  • Reliable, confident communicator with experience organising varied workloads.
  • Customer focused, able to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and superb organisational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets.
  • Comfortable interacting with professionals and supportive team player.
  • Desirable to have a driving licence to travel to Trowbridge site.

Salary & Working Hours

Starting salary £23,808, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, up to £24,272.

Full time, 37 hours per week on a permanent contract.
