A new opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Lead to scope, plan, and deliver marketing and communication activities to promote our brand-new community-based alcohol and drug service. Inspire offers free and confidential alcohol and drug support for adults, young people, family and affected others in West Northamptonshire. The new service is a partnership between Turning Point, Bridge, Family Support Link, Double Impact and Framework. This role will have a strong focus on digital marketing, as well as offline marketing and events. Reporting into the Regional Marketing Manager, you’ll also be part of a wider community of marketing professionals in the organisation. You’ll be based in our local service offices, with some flexible working available.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating referrals to the service from specific population groups in line with population need and KPIs. They will also play a part in encouraging people to stay in treatment, or access information to stay safer when using drugs or alcohol.

You Will Do This By:
  • Identifying our target audiences and determining how we reach specific cohorts, both on and offline
  • Working with the service to deliver promotional activities to drive an increase in referrals
  • Creating content in-house using a range of tools and promoting across different platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Briefing and managing external agencies for content and artwork
  • Leading local awareness campaigns, working alongside the service leads and commissioning team where appropriate
  • Supporting community outreach activities, including the delivery of events and marketing collateral
  • Working alongside partners and local authorities to build communication links in the community
  • Working with the Central Marketing team to ensure all activities are on brand and created in the right tone of voice
  • Visibly representing the service in forums, meetings and events
  • Monitoring local media and responding to enquiries
  • Reporting on activity linked to the marketing plan and performance
The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience of working in marketing or communications, including creating on- and offline content, and independently managing social media accounts. While sector experience isn’t necessary, an understanding of the needs of the people we support is preferred.

You’ll be comfortable taking a hands‑on approach, writing your own copy, designing your own assets, and presenting your work back to a range of stakeholders. You’re results-driven and always look for pragmatic ways to improve against objectives. You enjoy a high degree of autonomy while being very collaborative and inclusive of peoples ideas and perspectives. You’re organised and methodical, with great attention to detail. You enjoy bringing stories to life in creative and engaging ways. You’re positive, resourceful, and action-oriented.
