Join Global's Digital Advertising Exchange (DAX) team and help shape and deliver product improvements across our Outdoor proposition. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with engineers, stakeholders and users to solve complex problems, prioritise effectively and deliver value in a fast-moving environment.
As a Product Owner at Global you will:
- Play a key role in shaping priorities, translating business needs into clear product outcomes, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver value for our users and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Backlog Management (35%): Own and manage the squad backlog for your product area, ensuring priorities are clear, well understood and aligned to business goals.
- Discovery and Delivery (40%): Work with stakeholders across Product, Tech, Commercial and Operations to gather requirements, understand problems, support discovery and turn opportunities into clearly defined user stories, tickets and deliverables.
- Squad Collaboration and Continuous Improvement (25%): Facilitate agile ceremonies, support engineers and QA throughout delivery, monitor the impact of releases, and use data and feedback to inform future priorities and improvements.
What You'll Love About This Role:
- Think Big: You'll work on products that support advertising across a large-scale media and technology business, with real commercial impact.
- Own It: You'll have meaningful ownership within your product area and the opportunity to influence priorities, delivery and ways of working.
- Keep it Simple: You'll help break down complex business and user problems into clear, achievable outcomes for the squad.
- Better Together: You'll collaborate with engineers, QA and stakeholders across multiple teams to deliver improvements that make a real difference.
What Success Looks Like:
- Built a strong understanding of the DAX Outdoor product area, including its users, workflows, stakeholders and priorities.
- Taken ownership of backlog management and helped the team stay focused on the highest-value work.
- Supported discovery and delivery of new features or improvements within the Outdoor space.
- Built strong relationships across the squad and wider stakeholder group, contributing to effective collaboration and team rhythm.
What You'll Need:
- Product delivery experience: Experience working in a Product Owner or similar role, ideally within a B2B, platform, SaaS or operational product environment.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Strong experience working closely with engineers, QA and stakeholders to move work from discovery through to delivery.
- Requirements and prioritisation: Confidence writing clear user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria, while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Analytical and communication skills: Comfortable using data and feedback to support decision-making, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and work through ambiguity in a practical way.
- Domain knowledge: Experience in ad tech, media, marketplaces or complex digital platforms would be beneficial; knowledge of DOOH, programmatic advertising or ad tech is a plus, but not essential.
