Mission
We are seeking a highly motivated Export Control Officer to ensure compliance with export regulations and international trade laws.
This role involves managing export licenses, monitoring shipments, and ensuring adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- What will be your responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with national and international export control regulations.
- Manage export license applications and ensure timely approvals.
- Assess and classify goods, technology, and data under export control regulations.
- Liaise with government agencies and regulatory authorities.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on export control compliance.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments related to export activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance reporting.
- Implement and improve processes.
- Monitor shipments.
- Profile and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience of more than 3 years in export control, compliance, or international trade.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations (e. g., EAR, ITAR, EU Dual‑Use Regulations).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Availability for travelling.
- Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with customs authorities and licensing bodies.
- Certification in export compliance (e. g., Certified Export Specialist, ECITB).
- Knowledge of restricted party screening and trade sanctions.
