Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site and workshop role. The role involves the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklift trucks and related material handling equipment. Responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and diagnosing equipment issues
  • Carrying out repairs
  • Preventative maintenance tasks
  • Keeping accurate service records

The Forklift Truck Engineer will work closely with a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery at client sites or company facilities. You will be working at the company’s depot workshop to start with to familiarise yourself with us and the other members of staff, then you will become mobile and visit customer sites.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm per annum (depending on experience). Daily overtime generally available (before 8:00am and after 4:00pm).

Company van (no personal use), uniform provided, PDA provided, working with Service Geeni.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of City and Guilds or NVQ Level TBC Qualifications in PUWER/LOLER (Desirable)
  • Productivity safety management
  • Self-motivated, quality focus and problem-solving skills
