We are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading hospitality businesses, with 59 restaurants across the country, each serving its own unique community. They are looking for a Senior Brand Communications Manager on a 4-month fixed term contract basis, to help orchestrate the communications ecosystem and lead brand communications across campaigns, social, PR, partnerships, influencer activity and owned channels.
In this exciting and fast-paced role, you will sit at the heart of external communications and join a small team that is dedicated to creating always-on communications with stand-out campaign moments to create affinity, drive visits and build awareness. With one direct report and two indirect reports, you will work closely with other teams to shape promotional activity, value propositions and customer offers, ensuring messaging is simple, compelling and commercially effective.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Own the communications calendar, creating integrated plans that align business priorities, customer occasions and commercial opportunities.
- Lead development and delivery of campaigns across key moments including menu launches, seasonal activity, Red Letter Days and brand initiatives.
- Act as guardian of the brand, ensuring consistency, quality and distinctiveness across all customer-facing communications.
- Lead agencies and collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Food, Operations, Commercial and Digital to deliver brilliant work.
- Operate confidently in a hands-on environment, personally driving projects and activity where needed.
The successful candidate will have around 7 years’ experience within a consumer-facing marketing, brand or communications role, with experience of developing and delivering integrated campaigns across multiple channels. They must bring strong project management skills with solid experience of brand communications, digital, social media, PR, influencer and content-led marketing. The Senior Brand Communications Manager will be someone who is able to think strategically but is also happy to be hands-on and driving execution, whilst managing agencies and stakeholders. Hospitality, retail, leisure or lifestyle backgrounds would work well for this role, as well as relevant agency experience.
