As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking a new business hunter to join their team of experts working with world leading brands.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll create, own and deliver a fresh digital marketing and business plan for both new and existing clients.
- With a strong background in new business development, you will assist on pitches to acquire new logo clients supported by a small but perfectly formed senior management and client service team.
- Once converted, you'll work with the Account Director to nurture these key accounts and seek out further new opportunities with a proactive, positive growth mindset.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying, nurturing and developing opportunities for new business.
- When developing opportunities, utilise insight from performance of websites and digital marketing technologies to provide initial recommendations and improvements.
- Writing proposals, pitches and tender documents and presenting to senior client stakeholders at board level.
- Ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts by building great relationships and identifying new opportunities within them.
- Understanding, gathering and documenting clients' digital project requirements.
- Staying abreast of digital projects to further expand the portfolio on offer to prospective clients.
The successful candidate will have around 5 years' experience as a business development professional, with first rate rapport building talents and a proven sales track record of winning new business as well as experience working in a digital agency or similar marketing technology related service. They will have solid tenures in previous roles and consistent performance in enterprise-level client acquisition, leading digital initiatives such as complex website builds and content management solutions. A strong understanding of digital marketing is essential, as well as an understanding of the latest applicable digital trends and enterprise web technologies such as CRO, GEO, Digital Automation and CMS.
