Location: Alfreton Office, DE55 7RG
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

The Opportunity
We’re currently looking for a Technical Illustrator to join our busy Technical Support team based at our Alfreton office. You will create and maintain high quality SOP’s (standard operating procedures, installation/user manuals and the creation of drawings/models for product fabrications.
As our Technical Illustrator, you will be specifically responsible for:
- Ensuring the generation of technical materials that are required to facilitate the delivery of product to market in a timely manner
- Working with our new kit design team to create 3d models and SOPS’s for new dedicated illustration kits for all group products
- Creating work instructions and SPO’s to assist the production line and production manager
- Creating or revise user and installation manuals for any new or existing products brought to market by any of the groups brands
- Managing and implement change through processes and communicate with other departments to deal with enquiries both efficiently and effectively
- Creating an illustrated parts catalogue (IPC) to assist every department determine product parts and codes
In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
- 3 Years + experience as a Technical Illustrator
- Proficient in CAD, solidworks and Adobe packages including illustrator
- Good understanding of basic engineering principles
- A well-organised professional
- Proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focused
- A clear and confident communicator and strong team player
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
